The lockdown has created enough of problems for many of the people. The urban poor who are daily wage earners are struggling for survival. The rickshaw pullers, the construction workers are the ones who are badly hit and have no place to live. Once we procured a vehicular pass, it was easy to move around and to visit the community kitchens which are meant for the homeless. The quality and the quantity of the food was poor and there has been no one accountable for this. It does pain and hurt to know that food that has to be made available is not there for the homeless. There’s total breakdown of the system and God is the one who takes care of them.
