It’s not about just using time well; it’s also about enabling young women to gain confidence and enabling them to move ahead and become economically empowered. It’s about gaining dignity and self respect in the family, when you are able to contribute to the economy of the family. The young women during these 12 months of coming to the centres have gained confidence; have learnt the art of speaking out. One of the main focus is to also empower them to dream dreams and help them to realize them and to move ahead in life. What do they say? “We feel so proud when we sew our own clothes and can work on designs”. Others say: “we thought we would never learn the art of sewing”. Now we feel so proud and are seriously thinking of beginning small businesses.
