In the present scenario that faces our country, we are called to work for the safeguarding of our Constitution. There is a danger to the very fabric of our Nation. It saddens most Indians when the one who murdered Gandhi are thinking of giving him an important place in our history. In the face of this, we need to revive history and oppose any distortion of history. Therefore, it is important for us to remember the martyrdom of Gandhi. Generations to come need to know the real history; need to know the the contribution of those who went ahead of us and on whose shoulders we stand.
